Happy New Year!!!!
As you can see, I've changed the layout....in honor of the impending New Year. Due to the late hour, I won't begin my posts until sometime later this weekend, but I want to assure you that I have tons to "discuss". To give you a sampling....some new "must have" products to help both you and your children get through the winter, ideas on class "gift bags" (now that I'm Head Class Mom for my daughter's elementary school class and an official "expert"...LOL), and some charities that I'd love for you all to give a look at and possible donate to or, at the very least, pass on the information to others. I wish you and your families a Very Happy New Year and hope that 2007 proves to be a happy, healthy and wealthy one for all!

Drinking plenty of water makes your skin moist and supple.
See Hint
Though drinking water is essential to keeping your body hydrated, a generous water intake doesn't make your skin look moist and supple nor does it improve wrinkles or make your skin look younger. The amount of moisture in your skin is more likely determined by external factors, such as: The amount of humidity in the air How much time you spend in the sun How often you wash your skin The types of soaps and detergents you use
True
Sorry, this answer is incorrect.
False
This is the correct answer.
To prevent dry skin, apply a moisturizer immediately after bathing.
See Hint
Apply a lotion or cream right after bathing while your skin is still moist. This will make bathing a moisturizing experience, rather than a skin-drying experience. When your skin completely dries after washing, some of your skin's natural moisture is lost through evaporation. Apply lotion or cream throughout the day as needed.
True
This is the correct answer.
False

Eating greasy foods causes acne.
See Hint
Foods have little effect on acne. So greasy or fried foods, such as french fries, aren't likely to cause or aggravate acne. However, if certain foods seem to make your acne worse, it may be best to avoid them.
True
Sorry, this answer is incorrect.
False
This is the correct answer.
The best way to clear up acne is to wash your skin as often as you can.
See Hint
Frequent washing irritates the skin and can actually make acne worse. So can scrubbing your skin too hard or cleansing with harsh soaps or chemicals. Instead, wash problem areas daily with a gentle cleanser and use oil-free, water-based skin care products. An over-the-counter acne cream or gel also helps dry excess oil. Look for products containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid as the active ingredient.
True
Sorry, this answer is incorrect.
False
This is the correct answer.
Shaving makes your hair grow back thicker.
See Hint
Shaving hair doesn't create new, active hair follicles. It also doesn't increase the rate of hair growth or the color or length of your hair. The color, density, location and length of hair mainly depend on genetic factors as well as hormonal factors. When you shave body hair, it may feel coarse or "stubbly" for a time as it grows out. During this phase, it may seem more noticeable.
True
Sorry, this answer is incorrect.
False
This is the correct answer.
The fragrance added to skin care products is the ingredient most likely to cause allergic skin reactions.
See Hint
Of the ingredients used to make skin care products, fragrance is the most likely to cause allergic contact dermatitis — a skin reaction that produces a red rash, bumps and sometimes blisters. If you have sensitive skin or experience an allergic reaction to your skin products, choose those without added fragrances. Select products marked "fragrance-free" or "without perfume," which means that nothing has been added to make them smell good. Products labeled "unscented" contain a fragrance to mask the smell of other ingredients or chemicals.
True
This is the correct answer.
False
Sorry, this answer is incorrect.
Stress can worsen skin conditions, such as hives, psoriasis and eczema.
See Hint
Stress worsens many skin conditions, including psoriasis, eczema, hives, rosacea and acne. Manage your stress to reduce the occurrence or severity of these bothersome skin conditions.
True
This is the correct answer.
False

The best way to keep your skin looking young and healthy is to stay out of the sun.
See Hint
The best way to take care of your skin is to protect it from the sun. Ultraviolet light — the invisible but intense rays of the sun — damages your skin, causing deep wrinkles, dry, rough skin, liver spots, and more serious disorders, such as noncancerous (benign) and cancerous (malignant) skin tumors.

Skin care: Top 5 habits for healthy skin
Provided by:
Last Updated: 12/01/2005
Your busy lifestyle leaves little time for pampering skin care. The result: Your skin isn't the baby-soft body glove with which you were born. With age, your skin gradually becomes thinner and finely wrinkled. Oil-producing (sebaceous) glands grow less active leaving your skin drier. The number of blood vessels in your skin decreases, your skin becomes more fragile, and you lose your youthful color and glow.
Good skin care — such as avoiding the sun, washing your skin gently and applying moisturizer regularly — can help delay the natural aging process and prevent many skin problems. These simple skin-care habits will help you protect your skin to keep it healthy and glowing for years to come.
1. Protect yourself from the sun
For the most complete sun protection, use all three of these methods:
Avoid the sun during high-intensity hours. The sun's rays are most damaging from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Reduce the time you spend outdoors during these hours.
Wear protective clothing. Cover your skin with clothing, such as long-sleeved shirts, long pants and wide-brimmed hats. Also, keep in mind that certain clothing styles and fabrics offer better protection from the sun than do others. For example, long-sleeved shirts offer better protection than short-sleeved shirts do. And tightly woven fabrics such as denim are better than loosely woven fabrics such as knits.
Use sunscreen. Apply sunscreen liberally 20 minutes before going outdoors and reapply every two hours, after heavy sweating or after being in water.

2. Don't smoke
Smoking can accelerate the normal aging process of your skin, contributing to wrinkles. Skin changes from smoking can be seen in young adults who have been smoking for as few as 10 years.
Smoking causes narrowing of the blood vessels in the outermost layers of skin. This decreases blood flow, depleting the skin of oxygen and nutrients, such as vitamin A, that are important to skin health. All of these factors increase damage to the elastic fibers (elastin) and collagen which give your skin strength and elasticity.
In addition, the repetitive facial expressions you make when smoking — such as pursing your lips when inhaling and squinting your eyes to keep out smoke — may contribute to wrinkles. It's also possible that repeated exposure to the heat from burning cigarettes may damage your facial skin over time.

3. Wash your skin gently
Cleaning is an essential part of caring for your skin. The key is to treat your skin gently.
Use warm water and limit bath time. Hot water and long showers or baths remove oils from your skin. Limit your bath or shower time to about 15 minutes or less, and use warm, rather than hot, water.
Avoid strong soaps. Strong soaps — those most capable of stripping oil from your skin — can leave your skin dry. Instead, choose mild soaps with oils and fats added to them during the soap manufacturing process.
Avoid irritating additives. If your skin is sensitive, avoid products containing perfumes or dyes. These can irritate your skin and may trigger an allergic response.
Remove eye makeup carefully. Use a soft sponge, cotton cloth or cotton balls when removing eye makeup to avoid damaging the delicate tissue around your eyes. If you wear heavy, waterproof makeup, you may need to use an oil-based product such as petroleum jelly.
Pat dry. After washing or bathing, gently pat or blot your skin dry with a towel so that some moisture remains on the skin. Immediately moisturize your skin with an oil or cream.
4. Moisturize regularly
Moisturizers help maintain your skin's natural moisture levels. They work by providing a seal over your skin — to keep water from escaping — or by slowly releasing water into your skin.
The moisturizer that's best for you and the frequency with which you need to moisturize depends on many factors, including your skin type, your age and whether you have specific conditions such as acne. A good way to test if you need a moisturizer is to wait 20 minutes after bathing. If your skin feels tight, you should apply a moisturizer.
Select a moisturizer with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15 to help protect your skin from damaging ultraviolet rays. If you have sensitive skin, look for products free of heavy dyes, perfumes or other additives. If your skin is very dry, you may want to apply an oil, such as baby oil, while your skin is still moist. Oil has more staying power than moisturizers do and prevents the evaporation of water from the surface of your skin. If your skin is oily, you may want to skip moisturizing.

5. Shave carefully
Shaving is a common and inexpensive way to remove unwanted hair. But shaving can cause skin irritations, especially if your skin is thin, dry or very sensitive. For a smooth shave:
Press a warm wash cloth on your skin before shaving to soften the hair. Or shave after a warm bath or shower.
Don't shave dry skin, which can cause razor burn. Apply shaving cream, lotion or gel before shaving to protect and lubricate your skin.
Use a clean, sharp razor. If using an electric razor, don't use the closest setting, which can irritate the skin.
Shave in the direction of hair growth, not against it.
Rinse your skin afterwards with warm water.
If irritation does occur, apply a lotion that doesn't contain ethyl or isopropyl alcohol. Though alcohol and alcohol-based products may feel cooling, they don't really soothe irritated skin because the alcohol evaporates rapidly from the skin.

Just wanted to share....
Everyone says that "personalizing" your blog with pics is a fantastic way to get readers to relate, so here's a peek:
During the last week of September we took the little one for her very first trip to Disney!
Can you tell we had a blast?
Anyway, I know how very "spotty" my posts are, but I'm going to do my very best to rectify that matter.
Our daughter just started Kindergarten, I work part-time (outside of the house), have just joined the PTO (WOW, do they do a lot!), do my best to take care of the household stuff and have just begun to really focus on my own business. So, if my posts are erratic, know it's because so is my life....LOL!
Friday, July 07, 2006
So I'm erratic, sue me!
I know how very erratic my posts are, but you love me anyway, right? I have no excuse except....life. You know how that has a way of sneaking up on you and sucking every minute of your day from you, don't you? Anyway, in addtion to my last post (11 Skin Care Tips), I would like to remind you all to make sure that you remember the tops of your feet when you are applying sunscreen.......my husband, my daughter and I have recently learned this particular lesson the hard way. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far.
11 Skin Care Tips
11 Tips for Healthy Skin
By Jesse Rose Harris Aesthetician - Executive District Manager
1.) Wash face twice daily - DO NOT go to bed without removing makeup. WHY? Your face should be washed in the morning because generally people use a heavier cream at night, and if this is not cleansed off in the morning, skin may appear more oily throughout the day. Your face should be washed at night as well, because dirt, dust, pollution, etc. collect on skin throughout the day. Nighttime is when skin cells regenerate most. If makeup is not removed, skin is unable to regenerate as well as cleansed skin.
2.) Drink plenty of water. WHY? 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. Lack of water is the number one cause of daytime fatigue. The body and skin rely heavily on water to function properly. Water keeps the skin healthy, vital, and attractive, in addition to aiding in many body functions. An easy formula to determine how much water you need daily is to take your body weight and divide by 2. This number, in ounces, is your daily water requirement. For example, if you weigh 160 pounds, you would need to drink 80 ounces (Ten 8 oz. glasses) of water daily.
3.) Always wear sunscreen, even on cloudy days. WHY? UVA rays (aging rays) weaken the skins collagen & elastin fibers, causing wrinkling and sagging. These rays can penetrate glass, water, and clothing. Because UVA rays make up 90 -95 % of the suns UV rays, you can be sure they are getting through even on cloudy days.
4.) Take care of yourself from the inside out. WHY? Healthy skin begins with diet and water intake. It really is true that "You are what you eat." Vitamins aid in healing, softening, and fighting diseases of the skin.
5.) Eliminate regularly. WHY? Potentially harmful toxins and waste trapped in your body will manifest themselves in your skin. Not to mention it can lead to poor digestion and illness. Try our Herbal Colon Cleanse and Just Go! Fiber Shake.
6.) Use tepid, NOT hot water to wash your face. WHY? Hot water can irritate sensitive skin, it can also the pH of skin.
7.) Exfoliate regularly. Body and face. WHY? Removing dead skin cell layers from the surface of the skin can treat a variety of problems. Exfoliating regularly helps keeps skin smooth. Also, exfoliation ensures that your skin care products are working on the epidermis rather than on a layer of dead skin cells. Be careful, too much or too rough exfoliation can lead to irritation.
8.) When cleansing or applying products, always remember to go up & out. WHY? Skin naturally sags as you age, there's no reason to help it along by pulling down on your facial muscles. Moving up and out will help keep your skin firm.
9.) NEVER pick at acne lesions. WHY? If the comedone is closed and you squeeze it, it will force bacteria down into the dermis. If it is open, warm compresses will help open the pore, and clay masks will help clean it out.
10.) Avoid stress and strive to learn healthy ways to handle stress. WHY? Stress plays a part in our health, which is reflected by skin's appearance. Stress may lead to increased sebum production and acne breakouts. To reduce stress, be sure to maintain a healthy diet, get a proper amount of sleep, and exercise.
11.) Maintain hormone levels. WHY? Hormone imbalances may lead to many skin problems, including: sensitivity, dehydration, hyperpigmentation, acne and microcirculation issues. To maintain hormone levels, try our Prolief and Phyto Prolief Balancing Creams.

Barbecue Recipe......Shredded Pork
With the kick-off of barbecue season fast approaching, my family and I are planning our first barbecue of the season.
Upon inviting friends and family, I was asked by two of my friends to PLLLLLEEEEAAAAASSSE be sure that shredded pork was on the menu. This sparked the rationale that since they've only had in once and fell in love with it, that others may be interested in the recipe.
Believe it or not, this requires little effort upon the part of the chef and most people really love it....you can also make shredded beef the same way.
Depending on the # of people you are entertaining, get yourself an appropriate sized pork lion, lay the lion on a sheet of tin foil that is twice the size as the lion. Drowned the lion in barbecue sauce, wrap the tin foil as tight as you can around the loin. Place tightly wrapped lion on grill, or in oven, and forget about it for a couple of hours (how long will depend on the size of the lion, put I say about an hour a pound....leave on shelf of grill so it does not burn). When you feel that you have properly ignored your loin, unwrap a small section of it....to be positive that you have properly ignored your loin, take a fork and pick at the lion....if it easily shred, you have properly ignored your lion....if not, ignore it some more.
Upon properly cooking, the lion will easily fall apart with a fork.
This recipes is easy and DELICIOUS!

I know my posts have been erratic.......
to say the least, but bear with me please.
Just wanted to give a quick "reminder" to all the ladies.
With the warmer weather quickly approaching, it is time to start thinking about switching to a stronger toner, adding a toner to your regime, switching to a lighter facial moisturizer and possibly a heavier one for your body.
Along with the sun comes oily skin, so try to be prepared.
If you need some assitance or advice, you can contact me for a personal one-on-one "online" consultation.

I'm not preaching, but.....
By no means am I about to preach to anyone, but I would like to share with you all why it is that my posts have been so erratic lately.
In mid September, I acquired this horrendous cough. Since I felt ok, I decided to just ignore it. Come mid October, I went to lift my daughter into the car and I had lost my breath. Being that this scared the crap out of me, I called into work to tell them I was headed to Urgent Care and would not be in. I was promptly told that I had pnemonia. I took the heavy duty antibiotic prescribed and felt a little better. All winter I was real sluggish and tired, but everyone told me that pnemonia takes a while to recoup from and that I should just be patient. I went from going to the gym 4 or 5 days a week, to not going at all because I either lost my breath or was too exhausted to go in the first place.
Fast forward to March. I return home from work one afternoon, and decide to "sit down for 5 minutes". I fell deep asleep and upon waking could hardly ignore the tightness in my chest just below my "boobs". I picked my daughter up from school, dropped her off by my mother-in-law and returned to Urgent Care. This time I was told that I had bronchitis. After another round of heavy duty antibiotics, I still had a nasty cough and was still exhausted so I called and made an appointment to see a pulmonary doctor.
This doctor gives me a pulmonary test, gives me an allergy test and concludes that I may be at the beginning stages of asthma and that I should have a chest CT.
Well, the chest CT shows that both my lungs contain both cysts and nodules. The radiologist concludes that I probably am beginning to acquire emphysema.
I do smoke, well did, up until last Thursday. It has been a week today since my last cigarette. But I am only 33 years old...kind of young to have emphysema, even with a history of smoking. Especially since in the past five years, I hardly smoke because of my daughter. We don't smoke in the house, I normally have her in the care with me, so I don't smoke in the car, and I do not smoke in my office at work, so, the pulmonary physician is not completely convinced that I have emphysema and is sending me for more CT scans. I definitely have some type of lung disease, they just are clear as to what just yet.
The moral to my story??????
If you can, QUIT smoking NOW!!!! I'm 33 and my lungs have cysts and nodules in them, I require an inhaler, and I'm scared to death that I won't be around long enough to see the amazing person I just know my daughter is going to grow up to be.

Another product worth mentioning....
Recently, my little one acquired yet another "cootie" which involved lots of phlem, mucous and the rest of the "cootie" brigade. Never afraid to voice her likes and dislikes, upon attempting to rub some "Vicks Vapor Rub" on her chest in an attempt to break up some of her congestion, I was meet with a flurry of "no's" and body limbs moving in all different directions.
Enter....(drum roll, please)......."PediaCare Gentle Vapors Vapor-Plug". This little "plug-in" comes with pads that are treated with a blend of menthol, eucalyptus, camphor, lavender & chamomile. Have to admit, I was skeptical, but this little unit filled my daughter's entire room with vapors and she was able, despite her nose and chest congestion, to get a good night's sleep.

Back to the iRobot
As promised, I did a little research into the cost of the iRobot.......not that bad, price wise. I received the iRobot Roomba Red as a gift and according to the official iRobot website (which is http://www.irobot.com) the model I received retails for approximately $150.00. Not bad, huh?
I have to tell you, this thing really does work. As I have previously mentioned, it takes a longer amount of time than vacuuming yourself, but who cares?????
Additional, and in some cases much more expensive, models are also available. The Roomba Scheduler allows you to schedule specific cleaning times....a bit much for me. I mean c'mon for an additional $180.00 in my pocket, I think I can handle pushing the button.
Believe it or not, iRobot also offers a robot that washes your floor. Seeing as I could begin to twitch and sweat if there are streaks in my floors, I'll wait for someone else to try that one out.
Be sure to visit the website and check it out.

What do YOU think?
Ok, here's a little story:
I have a friend, let's call her "Lady W", who has a friend, we'll call her "Lady P" that she both works with and has a VERY close relationship with.
"Lady W" is, in VERY loose terms, "Lady P's" boss. It APPEARS, that "Lady P" has made an attempt to get "Lady W" in trouble with the big boss by telling the big boss about something that went wrong within the company that "Lady W" had not yet had time to research and find a solution.
The question: Does "Lady W" confront "Lady P" or does she keep quiet and just back herself out of the friendship??????
My advice was to both confront "Lady P" AND back out of the friendship, but as I have retold this story to others, the answer has varied.
What do YOU think "Lady W" should do?

Tips for "Glowing" Skin
The number one thing NOT TO DO: DO NOT PICK AT YOUR FACE. NEVER, EVER, NEVER.
First, make sure that you are using products that are specifically formulated for your skin type/need. I know people don't "buy" into this, but there really is a difference, in both the formulation and results.
Second, don't be "sucked in" to purchasing a "set" of products. I, personally, use different products, from the same company, based on my menstrual cycle, and season. Hormonal changes and time of year really do have an effect on your skin.
Third, drinking plenty of fluids to help keep the skin moisturized from the inside out.
Fourth, make sure to get enough sleep. The first place a lack of sleep can be seen , is on your face. It can darken circles under the eye and also make you appear pale.
Fifth, try to limit stress. I know that this is easier said than done, but stress also plays a HUGE role in the condition of your skin, so meditate, take yoga, lift weights, etc. to help ease your stress.
Sixth, buy cosmetics that are formulated to be beneficial to skin; ie, moisturize, protect from the sun, contain anti oxidants, won't clog pores, etc.
Last but not least, a good daily supplement will not only improve your skin, but your entire body and sense of wellness.

Correct Application of Eye Cream
I've noticed from talking with women, through both day to day
activities and my presentations, that most women do not correctly apply
eye cream.
In order to achieve maximum results from your eye cream, application
should be made in the following manner.
1) A SMALL amount should be applied below the lower lid,
on the lower eye socket bone and gently massaged to
with the fingertip to the outermost corner of the eye.
2) Another small amount should be applied directly under the
eyebrow on the upper eye socket bone and massaged with
the fingertip from the outermost corner of the eye to
the innermost corner of the eye.
Applying your eye cream in this manner will improve the appearance of
the ENTIRE eye area as well as aid in "shadowing" and/or dark circles
below the lower lid from the inner most corner of the eye.

Applying foundation
After my last post,I've had a few people inquire as to the proper way to apply foundation.
Although I admit that I do not wear foundation, since I am a skin care consultant, I do read as much information as I can in reference to skin, body & cosmetics products and applications.
This little tidbit of information I actually read in the latest edition of "Glamour" and used during my last demonstration.
(This is not verbatim, but it is the basis of the article.)
To correctly apply foundation, so as it is undetectable, first, choose a color that is as close to your natural skin tone as possilbe or one shade lighter.
Blot foundation in between eyebrows, under bottom lip, and on either side of the nose. After blotting in these "target areas", blend with fingertips, cotton ball or sponge. This tehnique for application "targets" the most troublesome spots and blending from these points out almost guarantees a flawless, undetectable blend.
For those of you that try this, please let us know if you found this technique as helpful as I did.

The irobot
Now I'm not sure how much this piece of equipment costs, I'll do some research and post it, but I must tell you.....THIS THING ROCKS. I actually vacuumed by bedroom while lying on my bed. Swear it ladies. Laid on the friggin bed while this thing vacuumed my room.
There shall be NO MORE LUGGING OF THE VAUCUUM UP THE STAIRS FOR ME!!!
Not only do I LOVE the fact that I don't have to carry my vacuum up the stairs anymore, but it really does do a good job. Takes longer than using a convential vacuum, but WHO CARES????? I'm not pushing the thing around. Let it take it's time.
The irobot has not only does an awesome job, but it also is equipped with software that "tells" it when it is banging into something, when to back up, where the "dirt" is, and when it is liable to fall so it should move away.
Husband looking for a gift idea???? IROBOT. Even if the price is high, hasn't he bought enough crappy gifts that he owes you a really good one?
I would love to hear from anyone else who has one of these to see if you concer.
Oh, by the way, my husband DIDN'T buy mine for me.....my MOMMY did.
I know, I'm pathetic, but I think she was hoping it would settle my OCD a tad.

Review: About Face Luminous Color Wand SPF 8
This Saturday, I had a client ask me about the "About Face Color Collection", being that I don't wear ANY make-up, I honestly replied that all the information I have on the line is second hand. I've either obtained it through product knowledge literature or other's experiences.
Anyway, I did have samples with me so I offered them to the client to try.
I must tell you, personally, I am anti-foundation, concealer, translucent powder, etc. but this stuff was like applying moisturizer. It left a beautiful finish that was part dewy, part matte. I have to admit I was absolutely blown away.
I knew from the literature and other clients and consultant's testimonals that the "claim" was that the entire line was reflective due to the extreme micronization of the pigment. I have to admit, after application, you couldn't even tell that my client had any make-up at all on.
Just as with the skin line, the entire color line is also formulated with herbs and botanicals so that in addition to color, the wearer also gets the benefits of moisturization and anti-oxidants.

The MOM PACK!!!
For all the women out there that are working at home, I've found this great new group.
http://www.MomPack.com
The members of this group are all women whom have home based businesses. It's a great place to get and give advice as well as trade business oppertunities. By far the most amazing thing about this group is the actual "Mom Packs" that each member makes up and distributes to both their own clientele as well as people in their communities.
For those of you that have home businesses and are looking for advice and a great, inexpensive way to advertise as well as network with other work at home moms, I HIGHLY recommend giving this group a close look!

Oh no you DIDN'T....
Oh yes I DID!!!! What did I do? You won't believe it, but it's true..........I did my grocery shopping online!!!!
Last week, I went online to see what Shoprite's current circular had on sale and to my amazement the home page said that "you can now shop online". Shop online? NO WAY!!!! Well people, I'm here to tell you.....YES WAY!!!
For a mere $10.00, Shoprite will have an employee do your shopping for you and at a predetermined time, bring your groceries out to your vehicle OR, for an additional $4.95, they will have an employee deliver your groceries to your home.
Which option do you think I took advantage of????
Picture this....the fridge is EMPTY, the little one is SUPPOSE TO be in pre-school until 4pm and you get out of work at 12pm...no problem, hit the food store after work. UH, OH....little one wakes at 4AM, vomits, lays on sofa, drifts back off to sleep, wakes up again an hour later, vomits, "Mommy, I don't want to go to school, my belly hurts".
ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? The darn fridge is EMPTY, I don't have anyone to watch the little one..............oh, wait, I can now food shop online. BINGO!!!!
I've got to tell you, I bought produce and meat and I couldn't have been happier. Not only that, but I spent LESS money, even with the $14.95 they charged to shop for me and deliver it to me, than I normally do when I go in and do my shopping. No impulse shopping online.
If you can swing the $14.95, give it a try.....and let us know what you think.

Believe it or not, I've found more Swiffer products.
Ok, so by now, you all realize that I have Swiffer issues. Well, let me just tell you about the two newest additions I have recently added to my arsenal.
First, the Swiffer Carpet Flick....great for quick clean-ups. Even picks up cat hair...seriously, I have two cats and a 6 foot, round shag rug in my living room and this thing works.
Second, and by far my most prized Swiffer product to date...................drum roll, please..........the Swiffer Sweep and Vac. I'm telling you, I really should own stock in this company. This thing is "da bomb". It's a vacuum. Swear it. PICKS UP CAT LITTER IN MY TILE GROUT LINES!!! Takes four batteries, which are included (Can you believe that?) and you charge it by plugging it into the wall. If you have hard surface floors, you MUST stop what you are doing, RIGHT NOW, and go out and purchase one of these. No joke people. Just as good as the vacuum on hard surface floors and weighs one tenth.
