The Holiday Season is Upon Us

It's amazing how excited you are for the holidays to roll around before you actually obtain the responsibility of shopping or hosting dinner.

May I make a few suggestions to help you keep your sanity, and possibily hold onto to SOME of that money in your wallet? I can? Great, 'cause I was going to anyway.

1) Make a list of whom you have to buy for with possible ideas scrawled
beside their name. I know this sounds simple, but if you're like me
and don't really enjoy shopping, it REALLY can assist in cutting down
the amount of time you spend roaming the mall.
2) Shop in the less popular malls in your area. Believe it or not, most of
these "less popular" malls contain the same stores as the more popular
popular ones and you may actually ENJOY your shopping since it's at a less
frenzied pace with less "mad" shoppers.
3) If it's possible, try to do as much as your shopping via internet or
catalog. Most offer discounted or free shipping this year, which also
will cut down on gas costs also. Am I the only one who thinks gas prices
are beyond insane?
4) Try to cut down on the number of people you shop for. Talk to family
members and friends. Why not skip holiday gifts and get together for
drinks or with the kids? Celebrate individual birthdays instead.
5) Hosting a holiday party or dinner? Do as much as the prep work as you can
in advance. Try to serve entrees that can be prepared in advance and
frozen until the big party or dinner.
5) If you're hosting a large party or dinner, my husband is one of tweleve
children, so I ONLY host large affairs, ask the attendees to bring
something. A side dish, a dessert, fruit...etc. It's not in poor taste.
If you've already take the advice in #4, it's really no big deal. And
with all due respect, who the heck did you invite anyway??? Your family
and/or friends, no? If they're that easily insulted....UNINVITE them!!!
AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
6) If you also do the five course meal, we're Italian, we do this if we just
invite you for no reason to dinner, use holiday paperware. Family and
friends insulted? Thinks it's in poor taste? UNIVITE them!!!! SSShheesh,
who the heck do they expect to do all those darn dishes?
7) By now, you've realized I have OCD, if you're opening gifts, make sure you
have plenty of garbage bags hidden around the house for quick clean-up.
Holidays or not, no need for your house to look like it was invaded.

Last, but not least, do your best to maintain your sense of humor. Someone, heck probably a bunch of people, are bound to get on your nerves. All that family is one house almost guarantees friction of some type and magnitude. If you feel your reaching your level of patience.........DRINK ALCOHOL!!! Family members seem so much more amusing when you have a "buzz"!!!
Happy Holidays to ALL!!!!

On a completely UNRELATED note...

I have no idea why all of a sudden blogger.com took away my right to color and italicize my text, but I have to tell you all, I ain't happy about it.
Rude, just plain old rude.
Give something and then take it away without even forewarning or mentioning it????

Since you think I'm nuts anyway....

I have to tell you, I know you're going to think I'm crazy and I'm okay with that, but you have GOT to go out and get yourselves the Swifer Carpet Flick.
No, I PROMISE and SWEAR I don't work for Swifer!!!
I just love a product that makes it easier to keep up with house work. Who in their right mind wants to spend an entire Saturday cleaning???? OBVIOUSLY, not me.
Anyway, this thing will pick up cat hair, glitter, almost anything.
My husband and I just purchased a new 6ft round shag rug for our living room. Yes, I said shag....you already KNOW I'm nuts so what's the point in rollig your eyes????
I was somewhat torn over this purchase seeing as I have a long haired cat, another cat, a dog and little Miss I Can Spill Almost Anything I Have In My Hands, but I have to say, from this OCD patient's point of view...this thing is da BOMB!!!!
I have also mentioned that I am ABSOLUTELY in love with my Swifer Sweep & Vac???
Don't worry, I'll let you all know what the shrink says when I get back, LOL!!!
Go Clean!!!!

1st Review - Thermal Fusion Enzyme Masque

I know that I said I would have this post done yesterday, but, better late than never, no????
Let me just say, before I post my review, that although I am selling these products, I do realize that women are quite hesitant to try new skin care products and that just because one person sees results with a product, does not necessarily mean that all people will see the same results. Also, I am trying to build myself a solid, repeat customer database. I don't want people buying products from me out of a sense of obligation. I appreciate the sale, but that type of sale is going to build my business. I want clients that WANT to purchase my products. I'm not looking to strong-arm anyone, I happen to really like these products and am also looking for additional income. With that all said, heeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeee goes....

First, the claim...According to the package, this product is an alternative to Retin A, Renova, Glycolic Acid and other chemical peels.
Now, MY take on the product....As a woman that has used both Retin A and has undergone six months worth of chemical peels, I had to say that this claim is relatively correct. Immediately after my first use of this product, my skin was firmer, softer and had a less blotchy appearance to it. I DO NOT recommend this product for those with sensitive skin. The directions clearly state that the product is to ONLY be used at night, HEED that. I have oily elephant skin, and this product made my face tingle and turn red. Also, be sure to apply to a DRY face and then activate with a small amount of water applied with your fingers by rubbing in a circular motion. This one, in my opinion, is an absolutely keeper that holds up to the claim.

If you are interested in trying this product, please contact me to obtain a FREE sample.

One more thing, real quick, ALL of the products are highly concentrated, you only need a SMALL amount. Just enough to cover your face with a THIN layer.

I'm so excited...

As a "newbie" to the world of internet marketing, I am so excited that I just created my first banner. I know it sounds pathetic, but I am just beaming with joy. Here it is......

Any feedback would be quite welcomed. Don't worry folks, I have my big girl panties on, I can hadle any critisim. I just want some honest responses.

This weekend, I am planning on posting one or two reviews on some of the skin care products that my site has available, and I will try to get some of my clients to also post their own reviews.

Hope to get some feedback on the banner.........

OOOOOOOOOooo, I'm such a bad blogger.

Hello to all!!!
I'm so sorry I haven't posted. We have all been sick around here and when Mommy (that's me) goes down, things seem to back log.
Now that I (and my entire little household) are feeling better and I'm almost caught up with the back log, I promise my posts will be more consistent.

With my current circumstances in mind.....

Seeing as my house has been taken over by germs, I found the following article interesting.

Feature of the Week: 7 medicines you shouldn't give your child

I can't possilby be the only one infested with the dreaded "cooties".
