Let's Celebrate Reading!

Every February, the students, staff, and faculty of Washington Elementary School take part in the school's "Let's Celebrate Reading" month long celebration of books and reading.

Our superintedent of schools, Dr. Richard Spirito (pictured at right) and Mayor Botboyl (pictured below) also accepted our invitation to the community to come in and read to students!

Thanks to PTO President Kelly Hallquist, on February 25th, students were visited by "Amelia Bedelia" author Herman Parish and Amelia Bedelia herself.
