This is a GREAT Idea....
This is an ABSOLUTELY fabulous idea....not only for new moms, but also for those who may have just suffered a loss, fallen ill, or just have to much going on!
Gotta Have It: The Perfect New-Mom Gift -- a Hot Meal
By Janna Johnson
gSiteLife.RatingThe perfect food delivery after labor and delivery.
If a genie offered to grant a newbie mom three wishes, you can bet having someone to cook would be right up there with health, happiness, and more sleep. So instead of giving your new mom friend a present for the baby (I mean, how many rattles and onesies does one kid need?), give her what she really wants: food on the table that she didn't have to cook herself. After umpteen hours of labor, we're thinking she deserves it.
Don't worry -- this doesn't mean you'll be doing the cooking. Enter Artiko, a prepared food delivery service. Their chefs whip up delicious eats and then they deliver them right to your door -- a godsend for those days when the grocery store seems as hard to get to as Antarctica. Most of the meals take no more than 15 minutes to heat.
From pot roast to enchiladas, Artiko has tons of options -- even mac and cheese for big brothers and sisters. We loved the Chicken Florentine and the to-die-for apple tart. Spend a little (12 vegetable pot stickers cost less than $10) or splurge on a week's worth of meals. We dig the New Baby Sampler ($124.99) which comes with several meals for Mom and Dad plus appetizers and sweets for those guests who keep popping in.

Gotta Have It: Safe for School Hand Sanitizer
Well, today's Dr. Phil.....yes, I hang my head in shame admitting that I do watch Dr. Phil while making dinner......focused on MRSA, and those whom have contracted the infection and then lo and behold, I check my email and find the article below in my "in box" from "Parents.com".
Couldn't help but share it!
Gotta Have It: Safe-for-School Hand Sanitizer
By Heather Eng
De-germ your kids with this alcohol-free hand sanitizer.
As a parent, especially during flu season, you probably wish it were possible to carry a sink and soap with you everywhere, because there's never a washroom around when you need it. And when you're not there to nag your kids -- who knows how long they go between soap sessions?
But here's something that might get them washing up: Soapopular, a new FDA-approved, no-water-needed foaming hand sanitizer that's alcohol-free so it's safe for schools (some classrooms have banned hand sanitizers because they contain alcohol). Soapopular's main ingredient, benzalkonium chloride, has been proven to kill 99.9 percent of commonly transmitted germs, bacteria, and viruses -- many related to colds and the flu. And this stuff is scent-free, rubs on easily, and doesn't leave hands all sticky. Good old soap and water is still the best way to keep your kids from getting sick, but for those times when it's not available, this may be the next best thing -- and the novelty foam factor might make them actually want to lather up.
It comes in several sizes, so keep one in the car, one in your purse, and give the kids travel-sized bottles to stash in their backpacks.
Soapopular retails at $32.94 for six 8.45-ounce bottles; $20.94 for six 3.4-ounce bottles, and $21.48 for 12 1-ounce bottles. To order online go to:
